The EACC and KCACE, had a discussion on cooperation strategies for cultural exchange

On January 15, 2025, Director Ro Jae-hun, President of the East Asia Culture Center and Qu Huan(曲欢), President of the Korea China Association for Cultural Exchange held a meeting to discuss ways to strengthen cultural exchange and cooperation between Korea and China.


During this meeting, various cooperation plans were proposed to enhance the cultural development and mutual understanding between the two countries, with a particular focus on expanding Korea-China cultural exchange. President Ro emphasized the importance of sharing cultural heritage and exploring new collaboration opportunities. President Qu highlighted the need for continuous cultural exchange to further deepen the friendly relations between the two nations.


Additionally, during the meeting, President Qu Huan contributed a painting on the theme of Korea-China-Japan friendship to the East Asia Culture Center. This artwork, created by a 14-year-old Chinese middle school student, features the popular panda, Fubao, conveying messages of smile and friendship, while symbolizing the cultural connection and friendly relations among the three countries. President Cui explained that the beautiful meaning of East Asian harmony conveyed in the artwork aligns well with the East Asia Culture Center, which has long emphasized the importance of friendly exchanges between East Asian nations. The two leaders plan to establish concrete plans for strengthening future cooperation.
