President Ro Jae-hun, visited Chongqing,China

President Ro Jae-hun, at the invitation of Chongqing Municipality, visited Chongqing from October 6th to 9th.

During his visit to Chongqing, he visited the Chongqing International Logistics Park Hub Exhibition Center. The park covers an area of 22 square kilometers and has international trains such as the Western Land Sea New Corridor, China Europe Express, Chongqing Manchuria Russia, etc. It operates 62 routes, connecting 110 cities in nearly 40 countries by land and 523 ports in 124 countries and regions by sea. In the first half of this year, a total of 2596 trains were operated in multiple directions, transporting 186000 TEUs with a cargo value of 50.1 billion yuan.

President Ro was invited to have friendly exchanges with Director Yao Chuan and Deputy Director Xu Lin of Chongqing Shapingba Investment Promotion Center, Chairman Deng Qin of Chongqing Western Energy Development Co., Ltd., and General Manager Yang Liu of Chongqing Jinsha Children's Art Training Center to understand the development situation of Shapingba District in Chongqing and explore potential cooperation opportunities with South Korea.

During his stay in Chongqing, Presiden Ro was also invited to visit the production line of the Sailis Automobile Factory to learn about its products.
